One person died after a collision on Diamondview Road in rural Ottawa. Three vehicles struck one another during the impact. Another person got hurt badly. Emergency crews came to the area and transported a patient by air to the hospital straight from the scene of the wreck.

In a unrelated incident, police officers in Edmonton arrested a man after two people got stabbed at a Sikh temple. Both victims were injured from the assault. Officers arrested the individual right after the attack happened.
