Swedish actor Dolph Lundgren, 68, says getting a second medical opinion after a kidney cancer scare was the decision that saved his life. He has talked openly about the experience in a new documentary, "Dolph: Unbreakable," which is now picking up reviews from critics and audiences.

Lundgren also has a memoir out looking back from his career, including the story behind a widely remembered red carpet confrontation with Jean-Claude Van Damme. The documentary and book land together, giving fans a close look at the health battle and life the Swedish actor has kept largely private.
