Taylor Sheridan is due to pick up a History-Making Texan Award in Austin, celebrating his streak of hit television and film projects. The creator behind Yellowstone is also being recognized for projects that stretches well beyond the ranch.

Sheridan has penned Sicario 3, now underway with Emily Blunt, Benicio Del Toro, and Josh Brolin all returning. He has also put together a Call of Duty project following his work on Lioness. His Yellowstone spinoff Marshals could link up with another spinoff, with discussions continuing. Casting is now open for Landman Season 3.
