Ticketmaster's president has confirmed "stuck transfers" following a ticket delivery failure last Friday, sparking new backlash over the company's reliability. A separate report used the incident to highlight the risk that comes with placing all trust in one ticketing service.
The trouble comes as a reseller listing a Bruno Mars ticket said she was caught off guard by the fees Ticketmaster added on top of her listed price. Rival SeatGeek, meanwhile, introduced a new tool called TourIQ, a predictive pricing tool aimed at live event sellers, making a case for itself as an option at a time when faith in Ticketmaster is slipping.
