Tom Selleck has not committed to return for Boston Blue, the Blue Bloods spinoff. He portrayed Frank Reagan for 14 seasons on the original show. Showrunners say they hope to bring him back and are leaving room for his return, but nothing is signed.
The spinoff is now in its second season. Season 2 kicked off with Episode 1, called "The Crash," which aired October 10, 2026. Fans who are hoping to see Selleck in the role again will have to wait for an official announcement.
