Eleven Edge Early Learning centres will shut their doors after administrators received no offers for the sites. Seven of the affected centres are in Queensland. The closures follow the fall of the operator, which has left families scrambling to secure alternative care arrangements.
Administrators successfully sold some centres in a fire sale, but the remaining 11 drew no offers. Parents have been given very limited time to secure new placements for their children as the shutdown proceeds.
